Vijay Khurana grew up in Sydney and was a presenter on triple j radio before moving to Berlin, where he began to focus on writing fiction. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. His stories have been shortlisted for the Bath Short Story Award and the I’ll Show You Mine sex-writing prize, twice longlisted for the Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize, and commended by the Manchester Fiction Prize. He has published non-fiction in journals including The Lifted Brow, and a creative-critical project at Beyond Criticism. His children’s chapter book, Regal Beagle, was published by Random House in 2014. He helped judge the 2019 Republic of Consciousness Prize.
